What do you use?

What is one thing that helps you the MOST with your fibromyalgia or chronic pain or chronic fatigue, aside from your pills? Is it IcyHot, BioFreeze, Hot showers, a handheld massager?

Let me know! Maybe we’ll be able to give each other some ideas for ways to manage this crappy illness!

I’m on Lyrica. I’m nervous, but my doctor thinks it might work better for me than Gabapentin (Neurontin). Anybody else on it? How did it make them feel? Any wierd side effects?

I’m also on Cymbalta. And then, of course, my back up pain meds for flare or breakthrough pain days.

Have any of you lovely followers ever traveled abroad with Fibromyalgia?

Am I pondering study abroad, but the idea of travel and life away from my doctors and support system frightens me! My fibro is pretty-well under control, but I have no experience traveling abroad and would love to hear for anyone who does!

I have a confession: I hate Fibromyalgia.

It robbed me of energy. It robbed me of family & friends.

Do I regret being diagnosed? Not as much as I did.

1 - Very minor annoyance - occasional minor twinges. No medication needed.

2 - Minor Annoyance - occasional strong twinges. No medication needed.

3 - Annoying enough to be distracting. Mild painkillers take care…
